Xiaomi may soon release the Android Nougat update for Redmi Note 3. Recently Redmi Note 3 spotted on GFXbench running on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. The news is still not posted on official forums or posted by Mi official, but according to GFXbench Redmi Nougat Update will be available soon. Redmi Note 3 receives the Marshmallow update last month, so it will be a Surprise for Redmi Note 3 users to receive the Nougat this soon. Android Nougat Update for Redmi Note 3 spotted on Qualcomm variant, so we are not sure the update will be available for MediaTek variant also or not.
Xiaomi recently released the Nougat beta testing for Mi Max and Mi 5 and many devices like Mi 4c and Redmi 3s/prime will get the Nougat beta soon, but there was no official update for Redmi Note 3. So Android Nougat update for Redmi Note 3 will be available soon, but if you want to try Nougat on Redmi Note 3, then you can install the Nougat based Custom ROM on Redmi Note 3.
Android Nougat update is already available for many devices like Galaxy S7, LG G5, HTC 10 and many more. The new Android Nougat Update for Redmi Note 3 will be packed with features all Android Nougat features like Multiwindow, Doze, Improved Notifications, New Messaging Apps, Seamless update, Vulkan API, along with system-level changes for Gallery, Contacts, and Settings. There is no official release date but hope Redmi Note 3 Nougat Update will be available soon.
