For Non-Rooted Users

Method 1

1) Enable ‘USB debugging’ option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.

3) Download ADB and fastboot driver for windows or ADB and Fastboot for Mac and install it on your PC.

4) Download the OxygenOS 5.1.5 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T from above Copy ROM to a folder where adb installed.

5) Now Turn Off your phone and boot into recovery mode.

3) Choose Install from ADB Sideload

4) Now Connect your phone to Laptop/PC

5) On ADB folder press shift+right click and click on open command here.

6) Now check your connection by typing the below command

adb devices

if your device is listed, you’re ready to flash the ROM

7) Flash the Oxygen OS 5.1.5 on OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T by typing below command

adb sideload File Name.zip

1) First, enable ‘USB debugging’ and ‘OEM Unlock’ option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.

2) Now download the Stock Oreo Firmware from above.

3) Now Download the Odin tool from above and extract the zip file.

4) Run the Odin.exe file on your PC.

5) Connect your Galaxy J5 to your PC with the data cable and reboot into the Download/Odin mode.

6) To enter into download mode turn off your phone and press and hold the ‘Home + Volume Down + Power’ buttons together until you see the download mode screen.

How to Install B370 Oreo Update On Honor 8 Pro –

Method 1 –

1) Download and Extract the Honor 8 Pro Flasher zip file that you downloaded from above.

2) Now download and copy update.zip, update_data_full_public.zip and update_full_DUK-L09_hw_eu.zip files inside the DUK_FullOTA_ROM_flasher folder and move it to SD Card.

3) Boot your device into TWRP recovery by pressing and holding the Volume Up button. Leave the power button as soon as you see the Honor logo. Keep holding the Volume Up button.

4) When in TWRP recovery, simply select Install and then navigate to the DUK_FullOTA_ROM_flasher folder. Select the DUK_FullOTA_ROM_flasher.zip inside the folder and swipe at the bottom to flash.

5) The installer will do everything for you.

6) [Optional] Do a factory reset and Reboot.

Method 2 –

1) First, you need to unlock the bootloader of Honor 8 Pro and download and install a TWRP recovery. If you already had an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed on your device then skip this step.

2) Download the recovery files from above and save it in adb and fastboot folder.

3) Now create a folder named HWOTA on your PC and download and place the three firmware zip files inside HWOTA folder. Also, download the two recovery images, do not place them inside any folders.

4) Boot your device into TWRP recovery by pressing and holding the Volume Up button. Leave the power button as soon as you see the Honor logo. Keep holding the Volume Up button

5) In TWRP, swipe to allow modifications when asked.

6) Now Go to Wipe > Format data and type yes to decrypt the device storage. This will wipe everything clean.

7) Now transfer the HWOTA folder to the root of your device’s internal storage. Transfer both the recovery files to your device’s internal storage as well.

8) In TWRP menu go to Advanced -> Terminal.

9) In the TWRP terminal, enter the following commands one by one. The first command creates an update folder inside the data folder, in the root of your device. The second command moves the HWOTA folder to the newly created update folder.

mkdir /data/update
mv /sdcard/HWOTA /data/update/HWOTA

10) Now Flash both the recoveries via TWRP terminal using the following commands.

dd if=/sdcard/DUK-RECOVERY-NoCheck.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery_a
dd if=/sdcard/DUK-RECOVERY2-NoCheck.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery2_a

11) Once the recovery images are flashed, delete them from your device’s internal storage.

12) Now enter the following terminal commands one to add the zip files to the recovery command.

echo --update_package=/data/update/HWOTA/update.zip >> /cache/recovery/command
echo --update_package=/data/update/HWOTA/update_data_full_public.zip >> /cache/recovery/command
echo --update_package=/data/update/HWOTA/update_full_DUK-L09_hw_eu.zip >> /cache/recovery/command

13) Now reboot your device into recovery mode again by using below command.

reboot recovery

14) Now your device will boot into the EMUI recovery and the update process should start.

How to Install TWRP on Poco F1 –

1) First, enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.

2) Now go to installation directory open ADB folder and open the command window thereby pressing and hold the ‘shift’ key and right-click anywhere in that folder.

3) Now connect your phone to PC and reboot the device into fastboot mode by press and hold Volume Down + power keys or by typing below command in cmd window

adb reboot bootloader

4) You are in Fastboot mode now to check your connection by entering below command in command prompt. It will return your device serial number means your device properly connected. Check your driver if the above command is not responding.

5) Type the below command correctly in command prompt and then press enter. It starts flashing recovery on your phone.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

6) With above command, you installed the custom recovery on Poco F1.

7) Now disconnect your phone and boot into Recovery mode by pressing and hold the Volume Up + Power Key or by using below command and then follow the below process to Root Poco F1.

fastboot boot recovery.img

8) Now the phone is booted in the TWRP mode.

9) If it will ask you for the password, Tap on the cancel button, go to wipe > advanced wipe and Wipe Data only.

10) Now Reboot to recovery and connect your phone to the PC and save the DisableForceEncryption_Treble.zip on your phone.

11) Now tap on the install Button and install the DisableForceEncryption_Treble.zip file.

12) Done.

Root Xiaomi Poco F1 –

1) To Root Xiaomi Poco F1, Boot your device into Recovery mode.

2) Now save the Magisk zip file to your phone.

4) In TWRP recovery navigate to Install Zip and select Magisk to Root Poco F1.

5) Swipe to flash Magisk to Root Poco F1 and reboot your device.

That’s it, you root Poco F1 and install TWRP successfully.
