3) Now download all three update, data, and public files (make sure you rename the files as mentioned above) and copy them either in the external SDCard inside an HWOTA folder or in the PC in the C:\..\HWOTA\update folder.

4) Run the update.bat file as an administrator, It will ask you if you copied the files. Press any key to continue.

5) Now connect your device and Reboot into Bootloader mode using “Volume Down + Power” or just use “adb reboot bootloader” then press any key.

6) The above step will install TWRP on your device.

7) Now Disconnect USB Cable and turn off your device and use “Volume Up + Power” to enter TWRP.

8) Once you’re in TWRP mode, plug in the USB cable again and press the Enter key on your computer.

9) If your files are saved in the HWOTA folder on the SD card, type 1 and press ENTER and if files are saved in the HWOTA/Update folder on your PC, type 2 and press ENTER.

10) It’ll ask you the update type, again type 1 and press the Enter button twice.

11) Done! Above step will start the installation of files on your device

Method 3 –

1) Requirements for this method.

You need to unlock the bootloader of Huawei Mate 9 first, Skip it if you already had it unlocked.

2) Now boot your device into fastboot mode by using Volume Down + Power.

3) Now run Replace_Recovery.bat in HWOTA8 to flash TWRP recovery.

HMD Global starts rolling out stable Android 9.0 Pie update for the Nokia 6.1 Plus. When it comes to the software updates Nokia is one of the best OEM and most of the Nokia devices receive updates before competitors. Nokia 6.1 Plus had earlier this month received Android Pie via Nokia Beta Labs. Thanks to its partnership with Google for the Android One programme, Nokia 6.1 Plus now receiving the stable Android Pie update via OTA.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus Android Pie update is now rolling out over-the-air which is 1.34GB in size and has the build version number 3.30B. The update also comes with October security patches along with new system navigation, settings menu and notification system, adaptive battery, app actions, and more.

The announcement was made by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, on Twitter. This is the third Nokia device followed by Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 which receives the Pie update. Next in line, the Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco which are supposed to get the Android 9.0 Pie update later this month.
